Your safety is our priority
Everything about our toy cleaning process
-
Natural Materials
We start by purchasing only toys made with natural materials and finishes, such as solid wood blocks with water-based paints and beeswax finishes. We sometimes polish and sand toys in the restoration process and only use natural finishes when refinishing them.
-
Natural products
Our team uses a combination of high-temperature steam cleaning and vinegar for wooden toys. Fabrics are treated with fragrance-free Seventh Generation soap. We do a combination of air drying and hand drying with cotton cloths.

No mess, no stress.
You already have enough to deal with! We take care of everything from toy curation to cleaning. When collecting toys that have spent time with other families, they go through our rigorous cleaning process. Circulating toys is our goal!
When toys are returned, our team thoroughly cleans each toy using products such as vinegar, Seventh Generation mild soap and Bioz Green Toy Cleaner. Fabric items are either washed with Seventh Generation products and/or can be spot cleaned with vinegar-based disinfectants before being steam cleaned and dried.
The company Sétima Geração is an EPA Safer Choice certified partner. Each ingredient in your disinfectants and cleaners must meet stringent safety criteria for both human health and the environment, including carcinogenicity, reproductive/developmental toxicity, toxicity to aquatic life, and persistence in the environment. Their products are certified biodegradable by the USDA, fragrance-free, VOC-free (volatile organic compounds) and are registered to botanically kill over 99.99% of household germs on hard, non-porous surfaces.
The company Bioz Green produces the product Limpa Brinquedo, which is a product that has natural ingredients in its composition, is free of fragrances, free of dyes, leaves no residue after use and is hypoallergenic.
After drying completely, the toys are carefully packaged again and placed in stock, or shipped to customers.
